Open Water Skills
- Equipment Placement, Dressing, Preparation and Entry into the Water.
- The technique of surface swimming.
- The initial adjustment of buoyancy on the surface.
- Buoyancy adjustment before each dive: the rule of two thirds of neutral buoyancy at 2/3rds of the diving depth.
- The Technique of the Dive: The Step by Step Method of Performing a Freedive:
- The preparation for apnea.
- The body’s resting position before the dive (Placement of the body on the surface).
- Body preparation (Relaxation).
- The mental and psychological preparation (Self-concentration)
- The breathing method during preparation.
- The last breaths – The final deep inhalation.
- The movements of the dive phase.
