2. Platform Services, Membership and Delivery
Detorakis Freediving is an online educational platform providing digital freediving training courses, educational articles, a public knowledge base, instructor support through submitted questions, live online seminars, workshops and other educational resources.
Access to subscriber-only content requires an active paid membership. Membership grants access only for the purchased subscription period and may include access to online courses, the Questions & Answers section, seminar booking privileges, exclusive educational material and additional member benefits as the platform evolves.
Subscriptions do not renew automatically. Members may receive reminder notifications before their subscription expires but remain solely responsible for renewing their membership should they wish to continue using subscriber-only services.
Following successful payment, access to digital services is normally activated immediately through the user’s registered account. In exceptional circumstances, activation may require manual verification and may take up to 24 hours. Seminar bookings are confirmed electronically by email.
3. Payments, Refunds and Cancellation
https://www.mypos.com/All payments are processed securely through myPOS. Detorakis Freediving does not store, process or have access to customers’ payment card information.
All prices displayed on the website are shown in Euro (EUR) and include any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
Membership fees provide immediate access to digital educational content and are therefore non-refundable once access has been granted, except where required by applicable law.
Seminar fees are also non-refundable after booking, except where a seminar is cancelled by Detorakis Freediving or the instructor. In such cases, participants will receive either a full refund or the opportunity to attend a rescheduled seminar. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase and will normally be processed within ten (10) calendar days from the date the refund is approved. The time required for the refunded amount to appear on the customer’s account may vary depending on the customer’s card issuer or financial institution.
Because subscriptions do not renew automatically, users are not required to cancel their membership. Members may discontinue using the platform at any time; however, cancellation or discontinuation does not entitle the user to a refund for any unused portion of the subscription.
4. Educational Use, User Content and Acceptable Use
All content provided through the platform is intended solely for educational and informational purposes. Freediving is an activity involving inherent risks, and users remain fully responsible for assessing their own health, physical condition, training decisions, compliance with local laws and safe diving practices. Completion of online courses does not replace practical instruction, supervised training or recognised certification requirements.
Subscribed users may submit freediving-related questions to instructors. By submitting content, users grant Detorakis Freediving the right to review, edit for clarity or formatting, publish questions and answers, and permanently include them within the platform’s educational knowledge base. Personal identifying information will not be intentionally published, and Detorakis Freediving reserves the right to refuse, edit or remove any submission at its discretion.
Users agree not to share account credentials, attempt unauthorised access, copy or distribute platform content, upload unlawful or offensive material, interfere with the operation or security of the platform, or otherwise misuse the services. Violation of these Terms may result in suspension or permanent termination of access without entitlement to a refund.
